30 Days of Ukraine War, Its Casualty And Destruction

30 Days of Ukraine War, Its Casualty And Destruction – A month ago, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a “special operation” to “disarm and de-Nazify” Ukraine. Exactly after a month of Russian invasion in Ukraine, by surrounding the country from all 3 sides with the help of Russian air force and Navy pounding their biggest cities such as Kyiv, Kharkiv, Chernihiv, Sumy, Kherson, and Mariupol. It was believed that it would be an easy ‘cakewalk’ for Putin to invade and conquer Ukraine just like the Crimea annexation in 2014.

But so far the Ukrainian forces fought hard to keep the invading forces at bay with a very limited eastern and northern portion of the country under Russian control including the breakaway Donetsk and Luhansk. In short, the Russian advancing towards Kyiv and the central Ukraine has been stalled or delayed significantly which shows that the war is going to be longer than it appears to be.

30 Days of Ukraine War – Civilian Casualty

According to Ukrainian forces Russia has conducted 1,804 air raids on Ukraine, 1100 missile strikes, killing thousands of people and devastated the lives of over 40 million people. As per UN at least 977 civilians were killed and 1,594 injured but in real the civilian death toll is much higher. 4,431 residential buildings, 548 schools, and 135 health care institutions were partially or completely destroyed.
